Foundations are made of reinforced concrete. Above ground the house is executed of monolithic timber structure, erected at place. Timber material is impregnated for waterproofing, and treated against termites. The entrance door is made of massive timber material. Windows are woodwork and glass package, of increased thermal insulation and noise damping. They stop dust penetration and facilitate keeping the house clean. No moisture condensation ever occurs on windows, as timber structure and woodwork form natural breaking thermal bridge. Wet processes are reduced to minimum. The house is not assembled, not panel-made and not only for a one-season inhabitancy. The American house is destined for a whole-year dwelling. Its outer appearance does not differ from that of the brick buildings, and does not impose limitation on built-up areas. Except timber, plywood, concrete and reinforcement bars, all other materials are imported from the USA and Canada. THE QUICK WAY TO BUILD A WARM HOUSE
CONSTRUCTION IS SEPARATED INTO 6 STAGES

1. Earth works - excavation is made, shuttering forms arranged, reinforcement bars laid, and strip concrete foundations cast. Depending on Your wish, concrete slab, or timber joists structure is executed, covered with 14 mm. of plywood.

2. Structuring - monolithic timber bearing structure is erected. The structure of the first and second floors is built up, of vertical studs and horizontally laid joists, covered with 12 mm. of plywood. The roof structure is fulfilled, covered with 14 mm. of plywood.

3. Waterproofing - the roof and external walls of the house are covered with waterproofing polyethylene layer. American bituminous roof tiles are laid on the roof. Outer facing of vinyl siding is mounted. Chimneys are built, aluminum drainage ducts assembled, doors and windows are mounted.

4. Installation works - electrical and water and sewerage installations are executed. Electrical installation is made with double protected cable, specialized to be supported upon timber.

5. Thermal insulation - 100 mm. of mineral wool is laid between the external walls' studs and the floor joists, polyethylene folio laid, and gypsum board mounted.

6. Finishing works - floor plasters are laid, terra-cotta tiles, fiancą tiles, carpet, parquet, or other floor coverings put. Then the gypsum plastering comes, and painting.

The price of the built up area of a two-story house is EURO 350/square metre, and for a one-story house - EURO 400/square metre, as design works are FREE. Finishing phase: above ground foundations - ready, external walls - vinyl siding, roof - bituminous roof tiles, aluminum drainage ducts, PVC vent holes, woodwork, windows - woodwork and glass package, external door - massive timber, internal doors - laminated board, internal walls - imported gypsum board, plastered and latex painted; bathrooms and lavatories - plastered floors; electrical installation finished; water and sewerage finished, floor in rooms - plywood of 14 mm.; in case the internal separation requires metal structures, these shall be additionally paid. Payment is made in installments and depends upon the stage of construction. If You built up a brick house, possessing the advantages of the American one, for sure it will cost you more.
